This made in China denim fabric hat is a great addition to your casual summer attire as it is well made with a good weight to it and keeps the sun off the eyes. I ordered size S - M but, the product information is XL/XXL and is 57cm/22.4in on the label. This is a good size for my 56cm head with a 2cm or so of extra comfort room. The hat is unlined and the seams are neatly sewn. I like the detachable chin strap which can be made shorter with a push toggle. The clips for attaching the strap is very fiddly and stiff - I have no hand dexterity or strength issues. However, once the strap is on it is very secure and useful for keeping the hat on when there is s gust. I like that the stiff brim can be turned up - back and front if needed and stays turned up. The cotton fabric is a little noisy when it rubs against my collar.

I really like this hat, and was able to wear it before I got a haircut. Now, I don't have enough hair to keep it off my face. Bummer for me. Not sure why it says "adjustable", as the size can't be changed.

I really love this hat. It fits over my forehead very well, and it's super stylish. My head measures 23', but I have a big forehead, so I have to keep it honest, and this works great for me! I want the black one too!

OK, I've got a big head. Usually I wear a 7 3/8 size fitted ball cap for it to be comfortable.This hat is even a little larger than that, I'd say upwards of 7 1/2 - 7 3/4. So if you are looking for a boonie cap that is large and will provide plenty of shade from the sun over your eyes, this is 100% the right choice.You can roll up the front as well if you want more visibility, but I like the distressed look and feel of this hat as it comes.

I got the size L/XL based on the size charts. My head measures 23.5 inches. However the hat band was 2 inches too large, or 25.5 inches, so my recommendation would be to go down one size from what the chart says if you want oversized but not swimming. Two sizes if you want fitted, or at least that would be my guess. Other than that the hat is real denim and all cotton. It's constructed well and shaped nicely and feels comfortable. The black is a faded black as shown. It's a good value for the money.
