The Pressure Can Sealing Ring Fits Around The Inside Edge Of The Lid AndCreates A Pressure Seal Between TheLid And The Body Of The Pressure CanDuring Canning And Cooking
Installation:
1:Remove the old used seal and overpressure plug.Thoroughly clean pressure cooker seal ring grooves and overpressure plug holes.
2:Wash the new sealing ring and overpressure plug withwarm soapy water, and then dry thoroughly. Installthe sealing ring until it is fully seated. Make sure toinstall it under the stopper and lock pin, at the inneredge of the cover.
3:If necessary, to help make the cover easier to open and close, a very light coating of cooking oil may be applied to the underside of the body lugs and sealing ring.
4:Install the overpressure plug, push the side of theplug (marked "TOP"), enter the opening from thebottom of the cover. The indented part of the plug canbe seen from the underside of the cover.
5:When the lid is lightly placed on the body of the pressure cooker, press Once installed, open and close the lid a few times to make sure the ring is fully seated.

Si bien el empaque grande funciona, el pequeño no lo hace. Queda chico y es notable en su funcionamiento. Por el precio deberían tener mejor control de calidad, son empaques cuyo precio responde a la necesidad de medidas exactas y que no resulte así es decepcionante.

I didn't realize how hard my presser seal had become until I took it out and replaced it with the new one. The new ring fits great and keeps all steam from coming out around the edges.

They work good on our pressure cooker but the little rubbers in the lids come out when you wash them in the sink so be careful not to lose them.

I have bought three different brands of these based on measurements, and none of them fit. Very subtle differences make all the difference, because if it doesn't seal EXACTLY there is no pressure, and no pressure cooker. We just gave up and had to buy an entirely new pot.

Very disappointed that I have to purchase the ring that goes around the perimeter of the rim when I I ever need to replace is the plug in the lid which is the only thing that ever wears out in all the time I have owned my pressure cooker.

Found it after years of looking. It fits my presto pressure cooker perfectly. The ring’s diameter is 9.5 inches. Easy to install, fits like a glove and no leakage when used for cooking. You should check the exact size before ordering.
