I purchased this as a replacement for the original and even though it looked the same, it didn’t fit. Was too large. Too late to return it also. Lesson learned. Sadly can’t find one to replace the original that actually fits.

The truth is that Pressure Cookers can be dangerous. From personal experience, they can fail to retain liquid, which will burn your food. They can also fail to perform properly otherwise. If, upon starting your pressure cooker, steam is coming from anywhere else but that little hole designed to do so, then, by all means, change your gasket.This is an inexpensive and promising way to do so.Yes. I would highly recommend it.

I was totally surprised when I opened my door and there was my order! It arrived two days earlier than what my e-mail said! Opened the package and tried it right away on the pressure lid and it fit perfectly! Thank you and I will be doing very happy cooking with it!

I had tried several other sealing rings from other suppliers. The silicone rings were either slightly too large or too small diameter and did not fit properly. We own a "Power Pressure Cooker XL" 8 quart (Model PPC780). These silicone rings fit perfectly. They also fit our daughter's 8 quart "Power Cooker Plus 1013" pressure cooker (Model PPC772P). Both pressure cookers are distributed by Tristar Products Inc. These rings measure 23.2 cm Inside Diamter x 25.7 cm Outside Diameter (9.17 inches x 10.12 inches) and are 2 cm wide. I bought a 2-pack to have an extra sealing ring on hand. They may cost a little more but they do fit and are excellent quality. They arrived in 14 days. Amazon indicated it could take up to 28 days.
