The 6mm measurement is close but the 4.5mm is off. If you have plastic cups in your rollers the difference might not matter but over time they may start to slip. It would be less of an issue with a continuous string but with the attachment the way it is you will eventually need to reset or replace. Good enough for a quick fix and much less expensive than replacing a blind.

Probably the hardest part about installing this replacement was having to take the shades down.The piece that joins the two ends of the chain is too large to go through the roller wheel, so you have to think carefully about both the length to which to cut the chain, and how to place it, so that the joiner does not interfere with the rolling mechanism.However, once you figure that out, this is easy to install, and to works as well as the original chain.

The previous chain in my outdoor shade broke. This one works perfectly. And they sent enough for probably another 2 shades should I need to replace again. Shipping was fast.

Pros: Good quality, strong, easy to use, bright white, plenty of lengthCons: A little overpriced, you should get at least 20 connectors - probably more like 40With 10 meters of chain, you will go through the 10 connectors in no time. It should come with many more than 10. Keep in mind that if you're extending a chain, you'll need a connector on each end, so two for each chain. That means you can only extend five chains before you're out of connectors. The seller should at least offer variations that include different numbers of connectors. I would have spent another $2 to get 40 more connectors.

Very easy to install. Meshes well with roman shade cogged roller wheel. However, the connector will not go through roller; this makes the cord loop go all the way to the floor on my 6-foot window. Would be nice to have a connector that would fit through the roller wheel.
