I made a 12V fan for my summer camp and needed a switch that wasn't clunky looking. To make square holes takes a lot of filing. I like the idea that just a round hole needs to be drilled. 3/4 inch Forsner bit works in wood because it always rounds out a little. They state 0.8 ich for a mounting hole. The top and bottom of the switch hole needs to be filed out just a little to accommodate the locking tabs. There is also a keyway tab to prevent rotation which can easily be cut with a razor knife. The pre attached wires make connecting easy and the connector boots make this touch safe for higher voltages. As you can see this makes a nice flush mounting switch. The ON/OFF markings give a positive indication of the switch state. I am pleased with how the project came out. and will be making a couple more.

This is a great deal for 10 amp switches. 10 switches for under $10 (at the time of this review) is an extremely good value. In addition to being rated for 10 amps at 125VAC, they come with pre-crimped spade connectors. This makes it super convenient to use them. They are also two-way switches (single pole double throw, SPDT, with the center off), so you can control two different loads depending on if you switch into position 1 or 2. This makes them quite versatile as well. I spot checked a few, and they all worked perfectly. 5 Stars.

This switch has a really solid click and lock into each of the three positions. The wires that are included have spade connectors that are nice and tight but watch out for the clear plastic cover on the connector, they pull off very easily and could cause a problem if you don't notice.
