I purchased these hasps to use on some wood boxes that would become container or flask, holding together the cope and drag for green sand casting molds. All they needed to do was hold the top (cope) to the bottom (drag) while the metal (copper) was poured into the mold. For this purpose these hasps are more than adequate and the cost more than reasonable.If you are looking for something more substantial or wanting to use these of furniture quality boxes, etc., I don't think these would be appropriate. They are not high-end, furniture quality hasps, simply utilitarian for a decent price.

I use these to put the walls of my sauna back together after losing my original wall clasps. These made everything a lot simpler. Plus they were very sturdy and strong.

Very cheap. Even more cheap than the price I paid for them. Used 3 on a guitar case I built. 2 of the 3 have broken in only 2 months of light use. Will never order again. Do not recommend.
