These only require about 4mm hole. Smallerthan other 3mm inserts. They work really well.

I got these for making heat insert fastenings for 3-D printed project boxes. These are precisely turned and very cleanly made. My M2.5 screws fit smoothly into these. Simple fasteners made remarkably well. Highly recommended.

All parts are exactly the same with no variation. Holds up well in my 3D printed PLA parts with no slippage when tightening a M3 screw into it.

These are great threaded inserts for 1/4" diameter. I love the 1/4" size since it’s compatible with all my mobile gear and accessories for setting up a mobile filming studio. I’m currently designing a helper device to be the base for my on-the-go gimbal. While I haven’t finished it yet, my initial tests show that these inserts will work well.Just make sure to give enough wall depth in your 3D settings or use good infill values to ensure stability. Overall, I’m happy with these!

I got these because I have a few 3D printed enclosures and sensors I needed a way to make mountable to a tripod. These are the ones you want! Since these are fairly big diameter for threaded inserts, you will need to make sure you have a suitable iron tip to heat it properly to press into the print, but once in there, it'll be in there for good!
