Paint all bubbled off. Welds were inconsistent and leaked.

Meh, its a generic hollow muffler, with mediocre build quality at that. The slanted end of the pipe was sharp enough for the entire muffler to have speared its way through the packaging during shipping. Was delivered with the pipe 4 inches outside of the box!

Decent construction, actually welded together not rolled, and a great price.

There is nothing quiet about this thing. It's basically a glorified spark arrestor. My db was the same with it installed as with it not on.

It weighs 2.3 pounds or just over a kilogram. Heavy metal and welded construction. The baffle at the inlet is at a right angle to the outlet. The inlet is 1-3/8" or slightly less than the diameter of iron pipe. The inlet sleeve is split for a compression attachment. The attached bracket has a nut welded in it. I'm using it on an old chipper. It will require considerable bracing to stay put. If the muffler is installed upright, remember to put a container over the outlet if the machine is left outdoors. There is no drain hole.
