I got these with the understanding that these are code for deck blocking. Having used them on an 8x12 foot deck, I don't know that I'd use them again. The adjustability is clunky and requires that they are adjusted prior to completing the deck, unlike the adjustable concrete pier blocks that can be adjusted once everything is complete and the ground has settled. They have only one point of contact with the post vs the pier blocks with horseshoe brackets that have eight points of contact. If these were designed a little better with more points of contact and ease of adjusting, they'd be a good alternative to the concrete ones. Maybe there are other uses that these would be great for but I wouldn't build decks with them. They are much less expensive than concrete pier blocks though, so for the savings they get 3 stars.

These plastic pedestals are a lightweight, cost-effective option compared to traditional wood posts or concrete bases. Made from polypropylene, they are waterproof and rot-proof, making them a good choice for coastal environments or areas that will see a lot of water. The height adjustment range of roughly 3 inches allows for some flexibility when installing, but they get weaker as they are extended for height. The plastic construction doesn't match the strength of wood posts or concrete blocks. The manufacturer’s claims of 4600 lbs load capacity at the lowest position and 2000 lbs at the maximum height seem to be exaggerated. They’re better suited for lighter applications, or where you can put more of them per joist. These are a reasonable value if you need something durable and weather resistant more than raw structural power.

I built a flooring frame for my new shed on uneven concrete slab and this product made it a snap to level and square. I am curious as to how long they will last because the material is lightweight plastic. So far so good with over 1k pounds sitting on 9 of them.

They are not quite as large on the base as expected. Bottom part threaded right hand. Top levels left thread

These are one of the better deck supports that I have used. Not the best but good. Reasons for positivity: 1. Thicker plastic than cheap ones. 2. Very easy to adjust. 3. Holds weight of deck. Things I think need improvement: 1. The bracket lip that keeps wood moving laterally is only about 1 inch and it would be better if it was at least 1 1/2". 2. There is only 1 pre-fabricated hole to drive a screw in to attach to wood. In my opinion 2 holes would keep the wood more secure. Im using these deck supports for middle supports for a floating deck. Good buy and I recommend. 😃 🙂 .

I'm installing a new shed outdoors and these are perfect to keep the foundation frame level. It's a lot easier than using concrete piers because all I need to do it ensure that each location is tampered down flat and then I can place one of these down and adjust the height to match. It's so much easier than leveling the ground (although you have to do some of that, but not nearly as much).Adjustments are east and these have a very wide range of heights to use.

These adjustable support piers and are just what I wanted. Their quality is obvious. I don't doubt their strength at all. However, they're designed for metric lumber/timber so some adjustments have to be made during construction. Even though no instructions come with the piers, sufficient information is available on the product sales page to make using them a breeze for anyone with deck building experience.

We are putting on a new deck system in which we are using some boards and adding additional areas for support these were perfect for enabling our walk way and giving me the flexibility to align my posts to the same height was crucial. All 10 items arrived in good condition and shipped quick
