I am using these for my deck reconstruction, the foot is good and wide, with sufficient holes for anchoring. the threads and screw mechanism are well made and precise. Components are good and thick, the bracket for anchoring lumber can easily be bolstered should your project require. My suggestion is to make height adjustments before setting a load upon the base.

My floating deck ended up being slightly taller than initially planned for, so these supports werenโt used as extensively in the actual build as initially planned for. However, they were invaluable in helping to gauge which spots on the ground needed to be better leveled and filled in while laying out the deck foundation. The ability to raise or lower the supports was extremely useful and the materials seem to be good quality. I only ended up using 4 of these towards the outer, lower portions of the decking but they seem to hold the weight of the beams and lumber well.

These supports have made it easy to get the deck stringers level when the foundation is not. It is a clever solution to the challenge of getting the deck level. The supports are adjustable so itโs no longer necessary to get the foundation completely level. They also simplify supporting the deck. Typically you would embed vertical posts in concrete filled holes. These supports eliminate the need to dig those holes and wait for the concrete to harden before laying the stringers. They are also cost effective since each support costs less than the bag of concrete needed for each vertical post. I have also used them for a deck built at ground level. The stringers are screwed to the supports and each support is adjusted to keep the stringers level. Then the deck boards are screwed to the stringers. As long as the ground which the supports are set on is stable the deck will be level.

The worst part of building outside is the leveling process. I hate digging holes for framing a shed, deck, walkway etc. This will make the project much easier. My ground has a slight slope and these will be perfect to get the 2x6 boards level. I can do longer runs with these to support the centers. I have seen something similar in the home improvement store but they are not adjustable. If I need a higher height I can use a cement paver to raise it. I doubt I will use the cement top and will stick to the wood adapter. For $3 and change for me it is definitely worth it. I plan to use this for a ground outdoor deck with a fire pit built in the middle. Itโs definitely a time saver.

Its adjustability makes it easy for me to deal with uneven floors, and by simply turning the adjustment knob on the base, I can adjust the SLATE to the same height as the surrounding SLATE, ensuring the entire floor is smooth and beautiful. In addition, its light weight but strong, compared to the traditional concrete base is more portable, greatly reducing my labor intensity. I also found it to be very stable, even after adjusting the height, to ensure that the SLATE is firmly placed on top, without shaking or tilting. The 12-piece package is enough to meet the needs of my entire floor renovation project without having to worry about a lack of support points. It solves the problem of uneven ground I encountered during a floor renovation project.
