This is as about as rough a tool as you can get. Poor casting/forging, little effort to use good materials or refine the components. The gap for grabbing nails is small, and there is virtually ZERO flexibility with the tool. If what you are trying to grab is more than about 1/8" wide, forget it. The narrow gap and limited range of motion make it hard to manipulate and hold as well. Just doesn't feel like a well-made or designed tool.

The jaws don’t open very wide but great for pulling nails. I was using it to remove drywall metal edge which its a 3/5.
