I purchased to use for hot cocoa at an outside event. I had to turn it off after two minutes or less because it came to a boil. It scorched the bottom of the container and I had to scrape it off with much elbow grease. Not sure if the flame can be controlled with the flap that's on the fuel holder. I'll try that the next time. Its pretty. If the power goes out you could quickly heat up water if needed.
