I was concerned about buying this because some of the reviews says it's not 12" long. I needed it to be that long for my application. The one I received was indeed 12" long. I haven't used it much yet so I can't say much else about it, which is why I gave it 4 stars. I'll update my review as I have more experience with it.

Measured 140 degrees when my old thermometer side by side was correct at 160 degrees with plenty of time to stabilize. 😹

It's not even close to 12" long. the stem is measured at 9"
