We have the MALA easel from IKEA and these work great on the chalkboard side! They are easy to clean with just some water and a cloth. While I cannot speak to how well they work outdoors, I highly recommend them for indoor use.

Not chalk! Oil based like a crayon. Even after scrubbing with bleach and trying dawn it still will not come off the sidewalk. Dont recommend!

They are nice and colors are bold. But it practically permanently colored my sidewalk. I've used several cleaners and brushes and it's fadded but still visible. So I threw them out and got name brand washable ones and bought plastic chalk holders to keep hands clean free. And I like it much better.

I bought these for a chalkboard inside a children’s tent/fort. They wipe off easily and are vibrant! I love that they don’t produce dust. I haven’t run into my daughter using them too quickly (almost 5). I will be reordering as soon as we run out.

They write great on our chalkboard wall no issues bright colors - both my 2 year old and 9 year old love them!

We really wanted these to work super well, but they just didn’t. The twist feature was nice but broke easily. The chalk was maybe softer than typical chalk and was gone so quickly! We went through all the chalk within two weeks. The color of the chalk was good and I liked the plastic cover to keep hands clean.
