The stuff is stainless, I left a section of it wet for a couple days and it had no rust. This is fine for shade sails and the like, but if you don't know anything about safety factors or how to properly use fittings like wire clips, thimbles, or ferrules, you will need to read up on this before using it for anything more vigorous.The cutters worked fine for me and I did not notice any degradation of the edge after a few cuts. Like all 'bonus' items, don't assume it'll work for you, and have a backup plan.As you might expect, it's hard to keep this stuff on the spool once you start unwinding it. Plan to de-spool it and store the leftover cable in a much larger loop, if you don't use all of it at once.

This is a review for 100FT Black 1/8" Stainless Steel Wire Rope Deck Cable,T316 Stainless Steel Cable with Cutter，Aircraft Wire Rope, Cable Railing Wire for Marine, 7x7 Stainless Wire Rope Uncoated Cable InsulatedThis cable is made of a higher grade of stainless steel than most of the other cables. This is 316 stainless, which is substantially more corrosion resistant than stainless steels used in most other cables.The cutters work but you need a pretty strong grip. Cutters with longer handles would make the job easier.This 1/8 in cable has a breaking strength of 1800 lbs. It has a safe working strength for 260 lb loads.The black color is nice if you want it to disappear. If you're hanging Christmas lights, for example, the black color isn't nearly as noticeable as bare silver steel.

Very nice quality wire. Personally, I prefer vinyl coated wire, but there are plenty of uses for uncoated wire. This is especially nice because it's made of stainless steel & it won't rust. This option of the wire is 90 ft, or 30 yards long, which is plenty for the odd jobs I needed it for around our house. I used it to stake some recently planted trees & it worked well. The trees are on the large side, so I needed heavy wire. I looped this around some heavy rubber hose & attached them to stakes in the ground. There were 3 - 4 on each tree, depending on the size of the tree. It looks nice for support wire because it's bright & shiny, but I added fluorescent ribbons to the wire so that it could be easily seen. I'll leave it in place for at least a year, but probably at least two years to assure the trees are well rooted & can maintain their position.This roll retails for about $20, which I believe is a reasonable asking price. It comes on a sturdy plastic spool for easy storage & use when working on projects. The wire came with wire cutters that are very sharp & they work well. Even after several cuts, the wire cutters remained sharp. Time will tell if that continues, but as of this time they are working well & I was happy to have them for my project. I'd recommend this wire to others because of its high quality, usefulness, long-wearing ability & for the wire cutters that are included. The price is reasonable & the quality is excellent.

Not everyone has a use for this kind of product. But if you do, then this is a good combo cable and cutter kit to get. I will be using this for hanging garden supports that will have a lot of weight on them with wet ground and plants. And it will last a long time without having to be replaced because the cable is stainless steel. There are many other uses for this SS cable, especially if you live on a large property and are a DIY kind of person. But the important thing to know is that the cable is of good quality and so is the cutter that comes with it for nice, clean, fast, easy cuts of the cable.
