It's made out of thick, sturdy metal. I lost my old trailer hitch and replacements are expensive. This one seems like a good deal for the price so far.

There isn't anything I can see that would detract from this. It is a pretty simple thing. Dimensionally exact, finished nicely, and fits as it should. Seems like a good deal to me.I'm making a trailer and expect the coupler parts, hitch, tow bar, etc to closely match Burley's design which uses this part. I expected it to be a shiny finish, based on nothing more than the pictures, but it is a matte powder coated finish, not that it really matters to me.
