That means that you can couple this lens to an eyepiece and obtain a 1.5X increase in the normal magnification of the eyepiece.

Useless crap. Very aberrant lens pair. Super narrow field of vision. Cheap plastic. Not worth even the $11 I spent on it.

As expected of a $10 lens, it is plastic (except the screw). The image is straightened out but it has a kind of “fish eye” effect. Again, it is a cheap lens that is good enough for casual use, like I use it. That is why I gave it a 4 star rating, since I can not give 4.5. If you are on a budget, go ahead and buy it. It certainly costs less than a couple of fancy cups of coffee.

By the time I got this and my 32mm Plossl eyepiece in the focusser tube the length of this piece created too much leverage against the focusser and was ruining my collimation. Also lacks eye relief and clarity. Not recommended.
