I was hoping this hose would be bit better quality. It got holes in it early on despite being used in a very normal way.

Review for: 1.5" ID x 50 ft PVC Lay Flat Discharge Hose with Aluminum Pin Lug Fittings, Heavy DutyReinforced Blue Backwash Pump Hoses for Swimming Drain Pools and Clean FiltersI like this well made 1.5 in hose at 50 ft, for moving water. I used this with a ¾ hp bilge pump to drain my swimming pool, worked great the hose does not like to turn (prefers a straight path), it kinks easily when trying to make even a gradual bend. I like that this hose rolls up into a small package good for seasonal activities.Overall 4.3 stars taking into consideration the products description, quality, features, value and cost of 45.99. I do recommend this product, and would buy again.

Need to be able to adapt to fitting a garden outlet. Could not find an adapter which would do so. Ended up returning hose.

I used this for my spin down pool filter to flush out the grime and sand from the filter. What I needed was to eject the water down a ways from my plants because the pool water might harm them.Metal connectors on both ends make this a strong and sturdy fit. Add two of them if you need to eject your water even further!High quality hose that will last a long time. Roll it when not in use and I would suggest keeping it out of the sun when not in use to preserve it from the UV rays.Happy with my purchase!

I ordered this 50' 1.5" flat hose to replace the junk plastic backwash/drain hose for my unground pool. I was tired of having to replace those cheap hoses every couple of seasons. This hose is reinforced and very heavy duty. I'm certain it is going to last much, much longer than those other hoses. I do still need to adapt the 1.5" PVC exit pipe with a 1.5" NPT adapter so I can thread this new hose on, but that will be a pretty simple process. I just wish I had bought a hose like this years ago. I'd be money ahead and with less frustration!As soon as you pick up this hose kit and feel the weight you'll realize this is a whole different level of quality.
