You may have an old Ryobi 12V that has been discontinued. You may come across a super cheap one at a garage sale or something, but it's missing the charger. Sure, the drill is only $10, but it's useless without a charger, right?So pick this little item up. It charges my Ryobi 12v battery quickly, and has an LED indicator on the transformer (the part the plugs into the electrical outlet). The LED will be red when it's actively charging the battery and it will turn green when the battery is fully charged.For the minimal cost of this charger you can open the door to an entire ecosystem of Ryobi tools that has been discontinued, so the tools themselves are generally pretty inexpensive to buy 2nd hand at yard and garage sales. Buy a reasonably priced charger and open up the possibilities of buying power tools for pennies on the dollar.

It appeared to work but never charged the battery. Found an original charger to the drill and worked great. So, it wasn’t my battery. Product claims to charge the battery and it appears that it does, but never did.
