I bought these to install a fuel shutoff valve on a piece of gas powered equipment. Work great, no leaks.

Although this is listed for a specific application, it is perfectly suited for any gas engine with a 1/4" fuel line. I installed it on a motorcycle with a Honda VLX600 engine in an old Husqvarna MX frame and it is the prefect solution for putting a petcock in a very limited space. ( Yeah, I know the bike is strange, but it's an absolute total ball to ride! ) If there is no petcock existing it can be added by simply cutting the existing fuel line and inserting this into the cut ends. A hose clamp of some type should always be used in a fuel fitting, and this is no exception. I recommend an actual screw tighten type hose clamp, but a spring clamp, or even a cable tie will work as long as it is tight enough. This is a well made unit, and my last one, which was identical, lasted almost 20 years before starting to seep fuel around the lever. Speaking of the lever, it moves easily, and you don't need to hold the petcock with one hand while you use the lever to turn your fuel on and off with the other hand. I've never had this type of petcock turn itself off from vibration either, so it's a well designed unit. Overall I can recommend this as an excellent value for a well designed and well made petcock, and with this being a 2 pack is twice as good of a deal!

I received two 1/4 inch fuel shut-off valves. These fit into 1/4 inch I.D. tubing and provided a secure fit. I used these to manually shut-off the fuel on older tractors, lawnmowers, etc. Quality appears to be good and I usually get a few years of life from similar valves. This 2-pack allows me to use one now and have another as a spare when needed.
