I bought this fuel primer pump for my 1998 ski-doo grand touring 583 Rotax with R.A.V.EI was having lots of starting issues with my snowmobile when cold. Despite having electric start the engine refused to start without a shot of either. However, once it started it ran perfectly and once it warmed up would fire right back up.I determined it needed a fuel primer since there is no choke, so I ordered this part. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the entire part is made of high-quality metal with only the handle and beauty nut cover being made of quality plastic. Once installed on my machine with the included new fuel line my snowmobile was back to starting like new, I am very happy with the quality and price of this part and if I need another in the future for another snowmobile, I will definitely be purchasing the same one.

Overall, great factory replacement for Ski-doo or similar. I purchased it to set up a primer for a mini-ATV. The fittings and line supplied fit well and will do everything I need, easy to integrate. Excellent value. Pumps easily, primes well, smooth action. Note: the angled fitting is the suction side. The straight is the out / pressure side. The only difficulty I had is that the line had a permanent kink in the center that would prevent flow and I had to cut it out. Otherwise great quality unit.
