While I don’t currently have a project lined up that needs these I wanted to give them a test. I used 2 pieces of scrap pine 2x4s I had lying around and the screws went in without the need for pre drilling. My 18v makita drill handled the task with ease and without the hammer drill function.These screws are coated and should not react with wood or leave stains with outdoor applications.These require a T30 bit and the manufacturer thoughtfully included 2 bits a long and a short along with the kit. Getting 1 bit seems fairly normal so the second was a nice surprise. At this price, it’s a good value.

These screws seem to be the real deal.They look very similar, almost identical to other structural lag screws used for decking. For those that don't know, structural screws are far, far stronger than your typical deck screw.Very nice to get two different T30 bits included. Those are not usually included in many toolkits.This is a great price for 80 structural lag screws with included bits.
