These melamine dipping bowls are a good size and it's nice that they have two compartments for different types of sauce. They're great for eating xiao long bao.They clearly aren't super high quality, as you can see from how the edges are a bit rough and unfinished as if they'd been sanded. They do the job they're made for, but I wouldn't call them elegant or fashionable (as the description does). Sadly, when the package arrived two of them had been shattered on the corners. (I didn't even know you could shatter melamine.) The rest of them seem sturdy enough, so it may have just been that shipping was especially hard on them.They washed up very well in the dishwasher and didn't collect a bunch of water on the back, which was good. Overall, they do a decent job, but I wouldn't use them if I wanted to impress someone or wanted an elegant table.

I was given a sushi bazooka for my birthday and have made sushi dinners every couple of weeks since - - my wife bought these because my family all have different tastes: soy sauce, aioli, wasabi, ponzu, teriyaki - - you name it they like it - - it's a real smorgasbord at dinner time when it comes to sushi sauce! These are durable and easy to clean - - just throw them in the dishwasher. And they are deeper than I originally thought so I don't have to refill sauces during dinner!
