Bought these just to have in case. It was a little windy so I set them up. Drilled a few holes into gravel the others into dirt. Shortly after I was done the wind really blew hard and nothing moved. When I was ready to leave everything just unscrewed and was packed away. I will always set these up from now on

We used these to anchor down a cantilever umbrella. Being able to unscrew the loop at the top makes it easy to use a drill to install them in the ground. We were then able to screw the loop back in through the holes in the legs. Our ground isn't too rocky and is easy to dig into, but it somehow broke one of the anchors. The welds broke and the blade broke loose from the rod. The rest of them worked fine and now the umbrella is anchored. These were much cheaper than the weights they sell to hold the stand down.

Used them to hold a swing set down while kids were swinging. Strong , good quality and not hard to apply. They give you most everything to apply them. I recommend them.

These were pretty useless for me. I needed some tie downs for a large storage tent, just to keep the ropes holding the cover on tied to the ground. The ground was a mix of soil and gravel and these things would not grab and drive into the ground, they just spun and spun.They might work better in sand or really loose soil but for my purpose they were useless. Had to return them.
