I got this to have on hand in case of a water line break this winter. I did a test on a piece of PVC and Copper pipes to see how it seals and it works great. Cranked pressure up to 100psi and no leaks what so ever. Gonna get a few more sizes to keep in my toolbox.

I ordered the SUNJIKA 3/4 inch Pipe Repair Clamp and this well made, well designed clamp did stop my leak dead in its track! No noted leaks thus far. I love the design that incorporates both a rubber lining and a stainless steel clamp which also uses two evenly placed bolts to tighten down on the leak evenly to insure to seal off the leak.I will update this review if it leaks but for now, no noted leaks. This is an excellent clamp that is easy to work with which allows me to seal off a leak easily and instantly.

...hard to envision for what this is designed to do how you could devise a better one! Built strong, stainless steel, rubber lined on the inside, good solid allen bolt heads that can withstand more tightening than most people's puny arms could apply. This is not some cheapo kludgy device you will nervously hope contains the leak or whatever problem with the pipe prompts you to resort to using it for a solution.I didn't order this because I had an immediate need for it. For the kind of problems it is a remedy for you generally don't have time to hop onto Amazon and order one to be sent to you. More likely than not you want a fix now and there is little time to waste. Maybe I'm overstating things a bit because you can always just shut off the water supply and wait until you schlep on down to the local big box store and come back to fix it. Highly unlikely your local outfit will have one this quality but sometimes you settle for any port in a storm.I own a few rentals houses so I ordered this to have it be on hand when/if a sudden need arises. You could even say I bought it to sleep better at night. Trouble is, now I'm going to have to worry about the plethora of 1/2" pipes that could kick up a fuss.

I recently used this on my exhaust and it worked absolutely flawlessly. I am seriously so thankful I don't have to go get a whole new exhaust at the moment and this did temporarily fix the issue. I honestly don't see why this wouldn't hold up long term. It probably will. Time will tell though I suppose. Definitely recommend for a temp fix though.

This is a good repair clamp because it surrounds the pipe with rubber and clamps it tight. Some other repair clamps have two curved halves that hold rubber strips against the pipe. Those ones have to be lined up with the hole, which is hard to do when the problem is a dripping pipe due to a slow pinhole leak making the pipe drip. The main negative is that it can be fiddly to get the bolts threaded. Once theyโre threaded itโs no problem to tighten them up and stop that leak. The shape of the clamp makes it unlikely that youโll accidentally crush the pipe.

Itโs solid and heavy. Decently heavy. The clamp opens and closes exactly as designed with no weird gaps, and everything lines up just right. Rotational tighteners are perfectly threaded and both unwind and tighten down without slippage or feeling grindy like itโs catching on burred threads. My friend has a home thatโs quite old with a mostly open space underneath where the pipes do occasionally split during extreme cold temps, and he agrees this is definitely something he sees as a safety item heโs happy to have at the ready. Iโm personally happy something like this exists, strangely enough neither he nor i knew it did at all until now- this winter may be much easier for at least one spot, should something require pulling this out.

I was a plumber for 15 yrs. I was trying to find my valve boxes and I'm a bit rusty I'll admit. I thought I was hitting some hard clay and poked through my line with a punch rod. This clamp shipped fast and worked perfectly to stop a small hole on my irrigation. It is pretty short so it is best for small holes, and possibly small splits around the pipe not lengthwise. You want the clamp to have at least 2 bolts. The ones with only 1 bolt will leak and you will be digging it up again. It's always best to replace not repair but if you gotta repair, this one will definitely do the job. I plan on leaving it on and seeing how long it lasts, I'm sure it will do fine in my circumstance seeing how it's built very well like a tank. It's very easy to install, no cutting needed. Just make sure you tighten the bolts evenly and make sure the leak has stopped before you cover it up. Great product!!
