Works well for us when we box. But only with gloves on don't use these for bare-knuckle you really feel the hand but the cushion from a glove plus the head piece is good protection

The helmets limit peripheral vision and are not good for martial arts students.

I used it twice so far and the red one already has a broken stich with stuffing coming out so doesn't hold up well the padding isn't the best either face area is to open and side padding let's you get knocked out, you get what you pay for
