These have been so much fun to play with, the colors are great! They’ve come such a long way since the ones that I used to use as a kid. These are an extremely good value for how much they cost.

These are a fun toy for the kids. Pretty cheaply made but kind of expected that. Also pretty noisy

I got these for a costume and for my kids to play with. My son has been wanting lightsbaers that connect together for a long time. Unfortunately after connecting them. They plastic on the bottom of both lightsabers broke after barely getting bumped 10 seconds after connecting them. The sound effect is does not match the movement of the sword and is just a loop of sound which really kills the vibe. The battery however does not last very long, takes forever to charge and dies quickly even with thr lightsabers turned off. These might be good for really little kids or kids that don't really care about the light being on. They still are a fun cheap sword tonplay with. When charged these do light up nicely and have a good selection of colors. They worked fine for my costume although they defintiely don't look very authentic by any means.

I love this little sword it lights up. It's honestly a little smaller than I expected, but that's what you get when you get these things.

He enjoyed it for the first 2 hrs but did not stand up to the playing. Extended part would not stay stable and cracked. He loved the idea and I will be shopping from reviews for another model for Christmas.

I got these as props for a Halloween costume. They were easy to charge and were a very fun addition to the costume. They make a bunch of saber battle sounds when you power them up then become reactive to how you move them. I thought they were fairly sophisticated considering the low cost. There is a little ring that you pull to release the “blade” and then when you swing the handle centrifugal force pulls it out. The LED in the base actually lights up the blade pretty well. The plastic parts are not going to hold up to any actual blows, so they are strictly for pretend battles.

This review is for the Zioland saber toy, 2 pack. It comes with two sabers, with two USB-C charging cables. I left the toys charging overnight (which was confirmed to be charging based on the red light that turns on when plugged in). I tried to turn this on and only one of the toys turned on.I attempted to recharge both toys again and left it for 24 hours, even checking to see if the device was truly charging (both toys lit up red, to confirm active charging). Again, only one of the toys lit up. I would strongly advise better quality control before these toys leave the factory. Now, with the toy that was working, the blade is quite bright and the loop (to allow finger spinning) was a hit. Blade does collapse down into the hilt (similar to the telescoping blades of old Star Wars toys that this "laser sword" is inspired by). There is a limited sound font with swings (which is expected for the price), but the speaker is loud and will undoubtedly excite the kids. The downsides to the toy (when working as intended) is that it is quite fragile. This will not survive the proper saber fight with children, who will hit and clash these toys with full strength. A light tap here and there seem to be sufficient, but this is something that I think will be hard to convey to young kids (who will want to go 100% strength with each swing).Edit: 10-28-24:I opened up the defective toy (the one that did not turn on) and after some lengthy troubleshooting (checking the battery, circuit board, etc.), it turned out that the external button and internal button were not aligned. Once I lined those up and secured it, the toy functioned as it was supposed to.

Well at least they're immune to copyright claims, right? These light up swords are good for kids not immersed in the SW lore and so expecting an actual Jedi's weapon. They look quite different and have different features from a lightsaber, both in structure of the hilt and in having a covering flap on the top which is released from a trigger. The sword must then be flicked to extend the blade.Included with the swords are a pair of plastic parts that can twist into the bottom of the swords. Twist in just one and you can then connect the two swords. Not sure how durable that will be because there is a lot of leverage on that little piece but as long as it holds together is is a double sided laser sword. There are a lot of different functions (light color changes, blinking, sound effects on/off) but the best documentation is in the sales description above. They do respond to movement but with varying reliability. I found the control button tricky at times too as it would not always execute the color change correctly. If you whack these things together they are going to break. Nothing anyone can much do about that so don't expect them to last a long time. Long enough to have fun will hopefully be long enough to become bored of them. Personally I'm setting them up to wave around as part of a Halloween display.I'd describe these as good for about age 8 or a bit younger. Too early and they'll batter them to death, much older and they'll be interested in "real" SW stuff.Charging is USB-C which is handy.
