I used this to wrap a new sump basin. I had drilled several "weep holes" around the basin (at least an inch above the water level when the float switch is activated). The fabric should reduce sediment entering the basin through the weep holes. The outside of the basin was lined with coarse gravel to allow space for ground water to collect. The thickness of the fabric allows it to stay next to "up" as the gravel was built up in the hole around the basin.

As of this date, this shows as not available, which is too bad. This is a top-notch, heavy duty fabric designed for dry well drainage systems. It is a sleeve with one open end designed to slide over and enclose your dry well basin (prevent dirt and roots in, but let water out). Double check your basin diameter to ensure a fit, because this fabric is tough. It fit my basin perfectly, just too long. It is a 7-foot long sleeve, which was far more than I needed, so I cut off it off to the proper length. I'm even keeping the excess, as it will make the best heavy-duty weed barrier cloth I've ever used. A-One !
