The fittings appear to be strong and generally well made.However, be aware that the smaller 5/8“ diameter pipe protrudes into the 1“ pipe, significantly reducing the open diameter, what can lead to cooling issues.The 5/8“ therefore needs to be trimmed back with a Dremel or a similar tool.

These were easy to install on our side by side. They made installing a heater easy. They fit well and worked as they should. Well worth the cost.

Back before extended-life antifreeze, Y-fittings like this were commonplace for flushing out heater cores. Nowadays they're getting harder to find. In my case, this pair of Y-fittings will get plumbed into my Payloader's cab heater core so I can add an electric preheater.As you can see from the photo, these fittings are well-made.
