Much better than a regular porch spring, plus these are stainless which is needed in the Florida weather.

I used this product to replace previous springs that I had for 30 years, they were old, and one was stretched out of place, about 2 inches longer than the other side. these springs have the swing sitting level again.

Put one spring on a light hanging wicker type seat with cushions in the shape of a tear drop. I am 150 pounds. When plopping into chair it goes down maybe one half an inch softening the impact then returns to original height . So it’s about perfect in terms of springiness.

Does exactly what's expected. Absorbs jarring loads, gives a little bounce to the swing. 3 of us plus the weight of the swing, about 600lbs total and the springs are fine, well within their capability.

These springs are strong and solid. For my purpose, probably too strong since there is not much give. If you want strong, well-made springs, these are great. If you want springs that stretch easily, these don't unless holding a very heavy (over 200 - 300 pounds?) weight.

Very heavy-duty,well-made steel springs.I was impressed with the weight of these things,Haven't tried it yet,but I believe they can support a lot of weight.
