The Notake lighted doorbell buttons are a nice improvement over the faded and dim twenty-year-old buttons that originally came with the house we just bought. I installed one of the buttons near my front door and the other by my side door. They were easy to install. The LED light is nice – these really increase the ambience of my home. The most amazing thing about the buttons is that the spring in the light switch has a nice high-quality feel. At their current price point, the Notake doorbell buttons are a terrific value. This pair of doorbell buttons is one of the best values going for “old-school” doorbell buttons.

I knew going into this that these were not expensive doorbells. They're not. They're about as cheap and bare-bones as you can get for doorbells. Loosening the second screw to seat the wire from my house actually confused me, because, while the screw turned (with difficulty) it did not seem to be opening up enough space for the wire. Turns out that the little circuit board under the attachment screw was buckling up and only being held in by that wire-attachment screw!Anyway, to wrap up an overly long story, I got the thing installed and it works. I'm not convinced it'll last long, but it works.

Hooked up and one light went out but it still rings. The reason I replaced the old ones was because the lights were out. For the price, quess should have known better. Didn't figure it was worth the hassle of returning. Was disappointed.
