No padding, just a sleeve. Dog can’t poop while it’s on because it covers his booty hole.

First off absolutely no instructions. Besides that part the elastic goes down under the tail under the stomach in between the legs by the anal gland. THEN the covering is so big and loose if there is already an injury like in my dogs case the tail will slip and slide in the giant tail covering. Ridiculous and waste of money
