I learned about this from my vet and it healed a wound in 2 months that I had worked on for a year. Great stuff but pricey at Vets. I won't ever be without and also used on my wounds. Its amazing!

This stuff works! My Great Pyrenees gets crazy ugly hotspots. (I live in Florida.) This product has taken me from a panicked state to calm in a matter of 24 hours. And most importantly, so far it’s healed all hot spots quickly. There is a hefty price tag, so use it wisely and only as much as you need. There is no benefit in caking it on... as far as I can tell.

My cat had an itchy belly and she was licking her fur off in a couple spots. Before resorting to the vet, I decided to try this. Although I know what 7.5 grams looks like (and was well aware that it was even less than 2 ounces, which costs double), I was still a little shocked at just how little ointment was in the package. It wouldn't have been so bad if it went a little further, but it was super watery and the skin absorbed it really fast. I'd come back to her stomach half an hour later and it would feel dry again - and she wasn't licking it off.I ran out of this in just a couple days, then switched over to typical Neosporin since it's apparently safe for use on cats as long as it's not the pain relief formula. The Neosporin cleared her issues up for a fraction of the price. I'm not saying this stuff doesn't work, because it definitely seemed to cut down her redness and itchiness - but it didn't seem like a very good value for the money.

I really love this product! I've used it for a wound that was not healing because it was getting rubbed when my horse laid down by the blanket. What had taken over 2 weeks to get worse looked better in just one week and I didn't have to wrap it with this product! I again had some chemical burns from an all natural product from attempting to regrow hair on my other horse and this was amazing to use after the burns were treated with SS cream. Be careful not to use with silver products, I washed the area before application so I had absolutely no issues! Both horses are healed so much faster thanks to this product! It will forever be in my first aid kit!!

I purchased this to help heal a sore on my dog's paw, he liked it raw. Overnight I saw an improvement in the raw spot. I would definitely recommend this product!

My vet sold me a small tube (7.5 gm) of this when my 13 yr old beagle had a decent sized, deep cut that couldn't be stitched tightly cause of drainage. This stuff worked great to encourage natural healing and didn't appear to irritate or sting or anything like that. It prevented scabs and crust from sealing the wound and kept it moist for effective healing. I think it helped the cut heal more quickly. Very cool product. I ordered an second, bigger tube on Amazon for a better price than at my vet's. (The 2 oz tube is much larger than the 7.5 gr.) While this product isn't especially cheap, I think it is worth the cost as it will help avoid complications with the healing of bad wounds. If you are confused about sizes, I will include a picture of both tubes. Thankfully, a little goes a long way with this product. That being said, some bad wounds can take weeks to heal, and this stuff has a decent shelf life (3 yrs according to manufacturer) so I am glad I have a big tube (2oz) now.

I got a tiny tube from my vet a while back to treat a wound on my cat that would not heal for 2-3 weeks. I applied it daily for several days and it healed rapidly and completely. Recently another cat had irritated skin with hair loss, that would not heal, so I ordered a big tube. Once again this worked great, after just a few applications. Now I'm using it on my skin sometimes, and it works for me too. I figure it should be safe for humans since it was developed based on a wound healing cream for people with diabetes.

I bought a purebred dog and found driving a long ways home that he had a large open wound that had been stitched by a non-professional and was no longer stitched. I was told it could not be restitched and would take a long time to heal. The description on this expensive creme did not list such an injury but I bought it anyway. The creme was amazing. It really sped up the healing time slowly shrinking the large wound.
