I didn't have any trouble at all getting this sleeve over my stock grip, but the reason I bought this sleeve in the first place was because the stock grip is small-ish on my CMMG Banshee. The original grip just felt "hard" and there was no real texture to it.

I wanted Hogue, but I wasn't sure of what sizes. The I see these sleeves, they slipped on and are tight and secure on my KSG and a Magpul 2 screw vertical foregrip. If ya think they smell and or the feel sticky....clean them with 90% rubbing alcohol inside and out. This evaporates and removes grease/oil and dirt...no smell, no sticky crap. For several years I've used RA on any metal/polymer or plastic to attach hook and loop or to kill germs/virus/crap on any orders I receive on any items from any factory. I didn't heat them in water or use any lubricant, just took my time

Bought these to install on an airsoft replica M4 with a slick plastic grip. It fit well. The grip surface is still pretty mediocre, but better than before. I would still choose a basic A2 style grip over this.
