Just be prepared not only for the extra weight over other hoses, but the product has a very strong and bad smell. Don't plan to be using or storing in locations inside.

I needed a longer hose for my filter to backwash so the water didn't end up so close to the pool. This hose is a great length at 50' and comes with the clamps to hook it up. The clamps go on easy, and the hose itself seems thick and durable. This was a great solution and should last us many seasons of use!

This is a heavy and well constructed discharge hose that is as described. Unfortunately, I needed the next size up so I can not use this for my pool filter without changing a fitting, but I will use it with a different pump and maybe next season, I will change my fitting to match this size. This hose is much much nicer than any of my previous ones and should last a long time without tears. Note: this is on the heavy side.

My drainage is pretty far from my pump so this 50' backwash tube has been a lifesaver. First, it's heavy, but because the cover is rubberize it's easy to handle. Once rolled out the takes my pumps output easily. The blue outside layer is lined with a smooth inside layer so the part that touches the water is protected.As the ad mentions, check your measurements. My pump says it uses 2" connection but somehow that's way off. I was still able to use this pipe with two hose clamps and will get an adapter for a proper connection. The first time you use it, it takes extra pressure to open the pipe so you'll want a good connection.

The product was used to drain my pool for winter. Ivy only used it once but seemed to be ok.will review later.
