It’s not the exact same as the original on my whirlpool cabrio but it works perfectly!! It may look a bit different but it lines up where it counts. No more leaking from the drain pump. Mine was leaking in the back on the right side. On the right side back bottom then over about 5 inches is where the water was coming from. That bad part made it sound like marbles were rattling around in it during the rinse cycles also. I was surprised that this part fixed both issues!!

So far so good. Well worth the price. Looks exactly like the one I took out. A nickel wore down the vanes in the old pump. Gave my old washer new life.

Slightly smaller diameter on the inlet elbow so I couldn’t use my original elbow to make it a little easier, but the other end fit on washer fine (same size) with the included clamp and elbow.

Installed easily. Worked great. For about 6 months. Many similar pumps available just on Amazon. Each would be an easy install, so this pump isn't unique. Pump worked good, until it didn't. No warning before the pump seized up in the middle of a load of laundry. Should not be surprised after paying only $20. But I wanted to install a new pump that could outlast the rest of the 7 year old washer. I hope mine was only a lemon and everyone else that purchases this pump receives one that lasts for the remaining life of their washer. I could not recommend purchasing this product.

Found the original pump was going bad after it wouldn't drain or complete the cycle, until I gave the pump a little smack. Just like fuel pumps on cars, it jumped and started working again for the time being. Got this replacement, took 8mins to install and never looked back. No leaks, no issues or defects. Satisfied customer who got to keep some money in their pocket.

Caution: This pump came with 3 mounting bolts but they were too large so I just reuse the original bolts. This aftermarket pump’s outlet port was installed 180-degrees off (intended for the inlet side pump) so the outlet port needs to be removed and reinstalled in the correct orientation for the outlet drain side by removing the 5 Philips screws. Make sure to re-seat the outlet port housing back flat against the mating surface and evenly tightening the screws so the outlet port is flushed and locked in properly. This aftermarket housing is a little bigger and looks different than the original but the 3 mounting holes pattern is an exact fit (attached picture is the original drain pump).Working as expected after installation. No more smelly air in the laundry room due to a bad pump not flushing out the remaining water. Don't know how long this pump will last but the material quality seems good.To get the washer to go into the Self-Testing Mode for my washer:Plug in.Turn on.Turn control dial to “Normal” position.Press and hold the “spin speed” button for 3 seconds then release and wait 3 seconds.Repeat 2 more times and it will enter the Diagnostic mode.In the Diagnostic mode, any previous Error codes will show up or the number 88 will show (no errors).Turn left to see previous error codes or turn right to start the self tests. It will cycle through tests and display status like C0, C1, …, C8, C9.My original problem stops at C8 (error codes F32 and F72) which means the draining cycle takes too long due to a bad pump. After replacing with a new drain pump and re-running the self-test it would cycle through all the tests in about 10 minutes and then turn off all light indicators (passed all the tests).
