I used a repair service that was flexible enough to let me source my own part (this one). If purchased from their part supplier it would have been around $200 so this definitely saved me some money. I'm hoping it will last. So far so good, but I've only done one load of dishes so far since the repair. The repairman told me that he couldn't see any obvious difference between this part and the genuine OEM Whirpool branded part that they typically use (with same part number).

This was exactly the part I was looking for and is accurate in what part number it replaces and what models it fits. I was able to install it myself. It isn't an easy fix, but definitely doable for someone willing to methodically follow a YouTube video and with some familiarity about connecting and disconnecting electrical components. This was a great value at ~$50 to avoid a $400 service call or a $1000 replacement.

My dishwasher had stopped spraying so after some internet searching, I realized the circulation pump was the likely culprit. This part works perfectly in my Whirlpool dishwasher and was simple to install. It was nice that they included a different style hose clamp if you don’t have the clamping tool necessary for the original part.

Pump was a direct replacement and shipped to me next day. Easy swap from the old pump. Even came with a spare worm clamp in case you don’t have the tool for crimping the factory clamp or damage it. Overall, very satisfied.

The spray arms on our 8+ year old Kenmore dishwasher suddenly stopped working during the wash cycle. After taking note of the situation, I determined it was more than likely a problem with the pump assembly. I have bought appliance parts from various places before, so I went online to the usual places and matched up the part. I found that two of the places I have purchased parts from before had significantly varying prices for the same exact part. One particular online retailer was selling this same exact part for $210 plus applicable taxes and shipping. I decided to put Google to work and ended up at this Amazon retailer. I must give credit where credit is due: After taxes, this part was half of the other guys. I can attest that the part is a perfect match for the one it replaced. I ordered the part late on a Sunday and received the part Tuesday afternoon with Prime delivery. I also greatly appreciate this supplier's thoughtfulness to include a normal hose clamp, so that I wouldn't have to buy a crimping tool that would have probably gotten lost before I would ever have a need for it again. [after watching the very helpful installation video, I really don't see any upside to using the OEM clamp; just use the hose clamp and save yourself the pain of having to pull the diverter in order to crimp the thing]. Installation was remarkably easy and from start to finish, it took me less than an hour. Just follow the video instructions, and be mindful that you may have a counterweight to be remove first. Those screws are a 3/8 hex, BTW] Dishwasher is back up and running. Very happy. I will very surely be coming back to this seller for my future appliance malfunctions and woes.

Our dishwasher stopped washing on Monday morning.-Water was pumping into the dishwasher, but during the cycle it wasn't spraying around. The water was sitting in the basin, our soap wasn't even fully dissolving. The "Drain pump" to empty the basin was working properly.-These symptoms supported us having a failed circulation pumpWe ordered this part on Monday and it arrived Tuesday afternoon. If ever there was a day that I was happy for an afternoon delivery, vs an evening this was it. Great job amazon.Packaging & Completeness:-The part comes with a crimp ring. The seller put a traditional hose clamp into the box. For people without crimp pliers, this represents a huge benefit and value that is clearly from the seller - not the manufacturer. Great job seller.-Fit was perfect, from the 2 hose attachments, to the locating arm that slides into the bottom of the dishwasher, to the electrical connection.Installation-if you have tools (pliers, cutting pliers, t15, philips and flat head screwdrivers), a moving blanket to protect your dishwasher when you tilt it back after pulling it out, towels, light, and patience -this is really straight forward.-it took about an hour from breaker off to breaker on (first and last steps), That includes with my 2 year old stealing my light and running around the house every 5 minutes, and a vacuum intermission to clean up the dirt and cobwebs that were behind the dishwasher-It does involve pulling the dishwasher out from under the counter, but be careful and methodical and it's pretty straight forwardOur Dishwasher-Whirlpool Gold Series-WDT720PADM0

Looked identical to our old circulator. Fit perfectly. Working perfectly for two days.If and when it fails, I will update my review and drop stars accordingly. The original lasted many years. This one was not as expensive as the manufacturers part. I expect only two years but hoping more.They sent a regular pipe clamp adjusted with a flat head driver. I saw that in a review so didn't buy the clamp tool for the ear clamp. Nice to save on that cost!So far I am pumped about this purchase.... Ha

I liked that the part numbers were correct and matched the product (good start!). The pump arrived in less than 48 hours making my flight as I had to fly back to Nassau with it. The pump went in perfectly in about 20 mins of work - and this was my first time doing this repair.No leaks, running well.

The part arrived with one of the plastic pieces on the bottom snapped in half, however once we installed it, that part didn’t seem to matter. It was frustrating upon opening to realize it was in fact broken due to the price of the part. However our dish washer is now working perfectly again and it was exactly what we needed. Thankfully the broken plastic part didn’t interfere with the part working properly, and I can once again wash dishes via the washer. It runs brand new again!

I've only had this pump installed for a week but has our dishwasher has been working like new again. This pump appears to be an exact replacement for the original. It was fairly easy to install but had to pull the dishwasher out to easily access everything.More importantly, I will mention the symptoms that led to a new pump as they can be difficult to diagnose.When running the dishwasher, sometimes the soap would still be in the dispenser and the bottom rack of dishes would still be dirty. It appeared that bottom arms weren't spinning. I took apart all the arms and filters and made sure there were no blockages. When looking at the error codes it gave me a heating element code but the element was working fine. The circulation pump doesn't usually trip an error code as long as it's getting 120v which it was.So I removed the old pump and took it apart. The pump motor itself seemed fine but the pump impeller has two graphite bearings and one of them had worn slightly. So when bench testing it sometimes it would run and sometimes it wouldn't.So this replacement pump did the trick and the dishwasher has been working perfectly since.This seems to be a common problem so hopefully this will help others troubleshoot this issue and save the cost of a new dishwasher.
