Overall a great controller to play on the switch, gamecube, or wii. It was very easy to setup using the 2.4GHz Wireless. Very plug and play friendly. The battery life is great and ready to go each time I play. I leave my on the charger to avoid any lapse in usage. The controller uses a type c connector. The buttons are very responsive and the joystick is easy on the thumbs. There is no drift or lack of response time. The quality is good and great for the latest games on your console. Overall, this controller is a great addition to my existing gaming station.

This is a good way of playing games on a gamecube, switch, or wii. The controller has a pretty good similar feel to a gamecube wavebird. It has the same dimensions but it does feel a bit cheaper. Regardless of that, there is no channel on the bottom of this like the wavebird. You are able to easily plug this device into your system without much issue. It is pretty much a plug and play for your consoles. I was not able to get this detected on my actual PC though so just be aware of that if you want it more for your PC. The USB receiver is more for the switch than PC. I did not really try much to get it to connect on my PC so it could still work. The battery on this is not too bad. I did leave it over night to charge just to be on the safe side before trying to set it up any further. It is pretty much a plug and play. The pairing is already done to both receivers. I have not tried to plug in both receivers at the same time so I am not sure what would happen if I do. The controller is pretty nice and matches the color of the black gamecube while keeping the form of the wavebird. It is able to connect to the switch for all different types of games and works great for smash brothers. The triggers are durable and I love the feel so far. You can definitely tell the material differenced between this and an original wavebird. There does not feel too much of a weight difference between the original and this one. It has a type c port on the top for charging as needed. When comparing to the wavebird or original controller, the device feels pretty nice. The joystick works great and the buttons are responsive. It does not drift or stick which is nice after playing smash brothers for quite sometime. The buttons are not too bad and look pretty close to the oem ones. The buttons do take time to break in in my opinion. as they were a bit stiff. I am able to press the buttons without issues. You can run the controller while it is being charged as well if you need to which is an added bonus. The type c cable cable provided is okay and nothing too special. I found it charges better on a power brick but it can take a few hours to fully charge. You can use it while it is charging. Overall I do enjoy using this controller. It is nice you can use it with your gamecube, wii, and switch. It is pretty nice and not bad but you can tell it does not have the same quality in terms of feel and material as the n64 controller. The receivers are easy is already paired for the most part but the trouble shooting instructions are straight forward. I like you can play on the retro consoles from afar.

I've been using the black version for a few hours now, and the controller materials are mostly great. The analog stick feels just like the GameCube's, the c-stick material isn't the same but isn't terrible either, and the buttons and d-pad feel the same after some use. The triggers feel close to the real thing. They're not 100% accurate to someone with a lot of time on the OG controller, but they're fine. The bumpers are the worst part and feel a bit cheap. The controller is very light, which I'm a fan of and it charges through USB-C!With my praises out of the way, the reason I'm giving this a 3/5 instead of a 4 is because the controller will rapidly disconnect and reconnect while using it. I can usually go a good number of matches before it happens, but it's still frustrating. The controller will rapidly disconnect and reconnect, register buttons incorrectly while this is happening, and then finally connect fully. I'm not sure what causes it. The controller is probably the best WaveBird alternative you can find, but this issue stops it from being great.I would gladly pay $60 for a premium version of the controller that fixes the wireless issue while getting the bumpers and c-stick to match the feel of the official GameCube controller. Easy 5/5 if they can manage that.6/15/2024 Update: Exchanged my first controller for the same one to see if it still had input issues, and sure enough, it did. I would avoid this controller until they fix that problem. Moving this from 3 stars to 1 because there's no excuse for misinputs on a controller like this.6/17/2024 Update: Constant disconnects despite being fully charged. It's a shame because this is probably the closest we have to a modern wireless GameCube controller but it has too many issues.

Was hesitant to get for my gamecube, switch and wiiAfter paring to dongle works better then i expectWorks well for smash melee and ultimatei feels like you would expect, and its feels like i'm using a wavebird- the extra switch button, dont work when the gamecube dongle is used, which makes since, there were no mappings for it when the gamecube was created

Introduction :----------------I've been a Smash (Melle/P+, mainly) player for 20+ years now. I've been playing with a GC controller on all platform fighter games ever since and I know what a GOOD controller is. I also happen to own a custom GC PHOB with various mods on it ($350+ CAD). I wanted a controller with Dual Z, but the GC layout and preferably wireless to play Rivals 2, as there is an advantage in having dual Z on this game.Review :----------The controller is GOOD. The buttons feel a bit more "clicky" than OEM controllers, but that doesn't bother me at all. The sticks feel good and are good enough for SSB Ultimate and Rivals 2. That being said, the left stick has a weird "sensitivity" to it which is specifically noticeable on Smash Melee and P+. I wouldn't get this controller if you're planning on playing Melee/P+ competitively. The triggers are a bit "mushy" with a weird sound and don't have the "tactile feedback" that the OEM ones have which is not good for SSBM/P+ either, but is 100% ok for SSBU and Rivals 2. the battery life seems fine and the controller charges fast enough. The Z button feelsbetter on that controller than OEM GC controllers (to me) because they're more clicky. They kind of remind me my custom PHOB's "mouse click z". I would avoid using the "Gamecube Wavebird-style adapter" because it litterally BREAKS the control on Dolphin and on my switch with the official and the lossless adapter as well... The sticks start to drift and act weird, etc... The 2.4 dongle works perfectly though. The only problem is that you need to remap your buttons in game as the "A/B and X/Y" buttons are inverted (clicking A on the controller gets registered as "B". After changing your keybinds either on Steam Input / Emulator or directly ingame, the controller performed well. I'm currently in the top 200 worldwide on Rivals 2 and I play with this controller (so it's plenty good enough for competitive play as well).Only thing that I really find ANNOYING is the clicks on the C-stick as well as left stick... This doesn't fit well on a GC style controller. The sound that the left stick makes when dash-dancing is also not the same as the OEM GC one, which is not as satisfying IMHO and the left stick also feels A BIT more "stiff" than the official one.All in all ? This is a 7/10 from me. Enough to justify keeping it for platform fighting games specifically or for SteamDeck/Emulation use on the couch.EDIT : My GF got herself a controller as well and unfortunately, it wasn't as flawless as mine... So the QC might not be the greatest with this controller... If you got a good one it's great, if you have one like my GF got, it's nearly unplayable.

Controller stopped working after 2 weeks of use. Major stick drift on the left stick made the games unplayable.

El producto en un inicio funcionó muy bien, pero al mes dejo de funcionar, no prende y no se conecta con el receptor, obvio ya pasa de la garantía así que te quedas con un aparato inservible
