Used to install double loc dreads. Simple three strand braid and the rubber bars were snapping while I was to tying them. I thought rubber beans for horse hair would hold up and I was not happy with this product for that installation

I've purchased these bands for decades. The package received November 2024 is an entirely different product. Instead of a soft white, they are an unpleasant stark white.They seem thicker and of a completely different material. They look like curled up white worms. I don't know where to find the former product, but these are going back. Ugh.

These bands will stay in mane/tail weeks longer than the higher priced “super bands”. We live at over 6,500 elevation, where the UV is very hard on rubber and plastic products. These bands seem to hold better and last longer. Very pleased.

I use these rubber bands for both my standard poodle and my horse. They are very strong as some of the bands I've purchased before break when stretched. I can wrap these 3 or 4 times and they never break!
