This is a good item to get into corners and tighter spots where a more 'flat' sander/rust remover would be hard to get it into tighter spots. Works good for what I needed it for (getting rust off a small metal table).Happy with this item and would purchase again if needed in the future and if I wear this one out. LOL

I have some painted outdoor light fixtures that need repainting. The old finish is turning to powder and peeling in some spots. The aluminum metal underneath has some oxidation. These did not come with any directions for use. That is disappointing. Without directions, you may want to do some online research. I might suggest using a low to medium speed. I don’t think I’d use a high speed. Wear safety glasses. If a wire strand breaks free you have a serious eye risk.These wire brushes will be perfect for prepping for new paint. Anytime you have wire strands, there is a risk of a puncture wound. It happened to me right out of the box. It was not bad but got my attention. Handle these with care.
