This silicone cover is not large enough. It does not reach the edges of my Blackstone. I was looking for some extra protection as I keep the factory cover on, but still, sometimes the humid air messes with my griddle top. As you can see from the pictures, this comes up short of even reaching the edges of the griddle. It MAY help protect the surface a little, but it fell far short of my expectations. If you are looking for something to protect your Blackstone without any other cover, I definitely would not recommend this. I looked at some of the other reviews, and if you're looking for a mat under your kitty litter or a drip catcher for leaky pipes, you might be happy with this product. But definitely don't trust your meticulously seasoned griddle top with this...

Love this!! Purchased at a store, but used it under my cats litter box since I did not have a blacksotne griddle....BUT my daughter just won a 36" Blackstone and gave it to us!! This is VERY thick and durable. I doubt that wind will blow it off. Since I have a hood cover, I will use this for it's intended purpose of covering and protecting my (now) seasoned cooking surface when not in use.....I hate it when dust or blown dirt sticks to grill, so I will REALLY hate it when that happens to the griddle....this will save me time having to heat, wet, and scrape prior to cooking!

No other compensation was provided.When I received this silicone cover for my Blackstone griddle, I was surprised by how heavy it was. I've had other silicone covers that used magnets to keep the cover in place, but this one doesn't need the magnets. It's quite a bit more substantial in weight and it fits better than the old one. Plus, the magnetic strips peel off after being exposed to heat.I do wish it was about 1/4 inch wider and deeper so it had a perfect fit, but for now it's working well. I'm hoping the sun causes the silicone to relax a bit (there are slight folds in the surface from shipping in an envelope). I also like that it matches my utensil caddy in color.Bonus Tip: I do use a stainless steel cover to keep rain off my griddle. This silicone cover likely won't keep the rain/humidity out by itself. The moisture will easily wick down the sides (due to the lack of a perfect fit) and eventually rust your griddle. Definitely pair this with a decent cover or awning that will keep rain off the griddle.

I have to confess- I don't have this barbecue. I got this mat, as an 'assembly mat'. Something I could throw down on a surface to protect it from tool related scratches. It serves that purpose extremely well.Largest bit of silicone I could find.But it's also got some nice features- the handles make it easy to transport, and it's thick enough to provide good cushion/protection. The border means screws and liquids won't get away, and you have a fair shot of being able to transport any dust out with the mat. Super pleased with this. I've already used it several times.

Based on other reviews I was concerned about how this protective mat was going to fit in my 36" Blackstone. I was pleased to see that it fit perfectly with little to no gaps anywhere. I look forward to keeping my griddle clean and rust free, as that has long been a battle since my grill cover failed a few years ago and I never bothered replacing it. I like the color and thickness of this silicone pad and hope to get a few years of use out of it.
