Lightweight metal, honestly pretty flimsy. It does the job now, but I don't have high hopes for it lasting that long. Seems to be made of aluminum or something equally light.

I got this to cute watermelon easier and faster and I must say it has made the job more efficient. I like to keep cut up fruit around the house and as the warmer weather approaches I am looking for a better way to cut up my Melons and pineapples and this little gadget is the key. I love that this is easy to use and makes cutting melons and fruit like pineapple easier so that I can sit them up and place them in containers for easy snacking and for lunch boxes also.

Handy device for cutting and eating watermelon. The cut side of the barrel and fork side of the barrel look like they would just slide into and out of the barrel but they fit tight and don’t come out. It’s not watermelon season in my area so I can’t test how well it works but I’m sure it will work well.
