If you are capable of replacing an electrical outlet, and confirm you cut power before starting, these are pretty easy to install, about like any outlet.The associated phone app was intuitive too.It allowed me to control the timer on/off for only one outlet, leaving the other to operate as always on.

I live that these programed so easily in my app that I already had installed for my smart plugs. I purchased 2 additional units. Oh and they work with Google home so tjey can be controlled by voice or app.

These are almost worthless. The screws to attach wires are basically stuck and will not unscrew, this could be fine except the two holes to accept straight wires will not grip in three of the four holes. Also the wifi barely works on one end of my house with these. All other devices are fine well out into my yard. I also cannot use two devices at a time due to the very limited power support. This is NOT for anything other than maybe a few lights.

I've used the smart plug in socket devices for some time now. Rather unsightly and sometimes hard to place in certain outlets. You also have to find the right ones to fit 2 side by side.I like the idea of having a regular outlet that does the same thing. Looks nicer and I was excited that I would have 2 controllable outlets in 1. Easy install, turn the power off first and follow the wiring instructions.What I didn't realize and don't care for is the on/off switch on the outlet controls both sockets, it's not independent. So the switch will turn off the cabinets lights while at the same time turn off the coffee maker. Defeats the purpose a little bit. Of course I can use the app, but it's an inconvenience when the switch is right next to you. The control on the app should also be more independent. The attached picture indicates the Cabinet lights are on but....it's the coffee maker socket that is actually turned on, but you wouldn't know that by the app unless you clicked in through the switch. It's not a deal breaker but wish the use logic was a little bit better.

I bought a two pack as I’m planning to slowly replace all the outlets in my house with smart outlets. This was an attempt to settle on a brand. I installed one of these smart outlets per the factory directions, and it seemed to work for a few days, until it didn’t. Thinking this may have been a lemon, I replaced it with the second outlet of the set and ended with the same result. Having both fail no longer seemed a coincidence so I replaced it with a standard tamper resistant outlet and have had no troubles for over a month. Not sure if I just ended up with two duds, but either way I will find another brand to settle on for the rest of my smart home journey.
