Can crimp them on or solder them on, i soldered them on so i can change the wires in the future. No concerns about safety.

This style connector is one of the best for high amperage loads. I have been using them for winches, battery charger, trolling motor, and quick jump start connections for years. This flush mount is a good concept for some installs, but it would be so much more useful (and stronger) if plastic housing was fully enclosed with waterproof fittings for wire pass-through. Or, at least enough space to allow for customers to add their own.

You would likely find this panel-mount two pin connector set mist useful for recharging your car trailer winch battery while driving the tow vehicle itself. The alternator output can be hooked in and passed through to the trailer's onboard battery by mounting this connector into a bracket under the truck's bumper, or even into the bumper itself, right close to the trailer lights connector. Its essentially the same thing as an Anderson power pole quick disconnect socket, so the two thick conductor pins can be crimped or soldered on (always best if soldered/brazed) and then easily locked into the plastic connector socket, for easy one-push/one pull connection and disconnection of high-current passthrough 14v DC; in a split second. Alternatively, this can also become real handy for quickly bench-testing amplifiers, if you do such repair on a common basis. The power can be quickly disconnected during testing phase, so there is less chance of total failure in the event that the amp's circuits are on the brink of blowout. Any way you can imagine saving a ton of wear and time while using battery charging power output or input, this connector is best suited for the purpose! (i do not suggest powering heavy loads like winch motors through this connector. Please use the larger 1g size for that much high current handling!)Solid proven design..Quality components..Easy breezey assembly and use..Win-win! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Five stars!

This kit is great - you get a panel-mount compatible connector, and another connector with a dust/weatherproof boot, as well as the crimp terminals, boots, etc. to keep the connection tidy and free of weather/debris.If you need a panel-mount connector and want weatherproof features - this is your kit!

I got these connectors to create a cable to use on my 12V backup battery system. It's basically a generic Anderson connector.ProsIt's great for quick connects/disconnects.It works well and works with an original Anderson connector.ConsNone so far.Overall, they seem well made, and worked out for my purposes in my system.

These seem to be a decent quality, durable product. They work well with my other 50A connectors that I have already installed in some of my solar charging projects. My star rating scale: 5- Highly recommend 4- Good, maybe check others 3- Look elsewhere first
