These sunshades will fit GoPro models Hero 9 through 12 and can be used interchangeably. However, as with other some other accessories, using them on the Hero 13 will stretch them slightly and cause them to be a little slack on the earlier models. The best use I have found for them is when making a video of the outside scenery from a moving vehicle. Install the shade, and press it up against the window to eliminate the reflections from inside the vehicle

Lo compré necesitando un "parasol" para que aquellas luces que vienen desde lo alto de un escenario e inciden en el lente no dañaran el contraste de mi grabación. Y funciona muy bien si tengo la GoPro en cámara lineal y sin ningún tipo de estabilización activa. Pero en el momento en el que cambio a superview o hyperview empieza a ser visible en la toma el parasol. O si lo mantengo en lineal pero activo la estabilización y se realizan movimientos bruscos también se vuelve visible en la toma. Lo recomiendo solo si se va a usar lente lineal y sin estabilización.

Didn't really have high hopes but have yet to find any alternative so I rolled the dice. Items are cheaply 3d printed and have numerous defects in them. The seller tried to line the side that attaches to the GoPro with some sort of adhesive tape to allow it to fit and not fall off. Unfortunately both arrived peeling up or off from the lens hood and will not stay back down. The lens hoods will not stay securely attached without the difference in thickness.DOES NOT WORK ON WIDER LENS SETTINGS. VISIBLE IN CAMERA CREATING VIGNETTE

This hood will reduce the size of your frame when you are in full, wide-angle mode. It creates a hard vignette around the image that you'll have to crop out. Hero 9.

Half of my order arrived broken because they are shipped in a plain bubble envelope. Too easily crushed and broken during shipping. Out of eight ordered, 2 arrived broken. The other 6 work great.
