Definitely cheap. You get what you pay for. I typically dont use clip on mics i prefer the mobility of a boom stand for drums. But i needed some clip on ones for a project. Bought these, not the cheapest but i also dodnt feel like searching forever so i went with these ones. All plastic construction, wont mar your drums at least. The do have a bit of height adjustment about an inch up or down from center. They do clip on nice and secure. Pretty sure the actual clip that hold the mic is permanent, so no changing it out for bizarre sized mics. Fits my 58s and 57s. Overall they'll get the job done. Would i use them on stage without bringing back ups, no.

Works great for the price....but can only take the larger style of mics....like Shure 58's
