I’m not a medical professional at all, I’m a filmmaker. I ordered this for theatrical use. It being a medical model helps a lot for stage use because the anatomy has to be correct to use something like this effectively on camera. It looks great! Plan on using it for mild gore FX after an explosion scene. No fake skeletons were hurt in the making of this review.

Well made and the right size as a normal human spine. Great way to show and explain to someone what you're spine looks like. The spine sits on the hook and can easily take off and put back on the stand.

Got this as a gift for a friend who is a Gonstead chiropractor in Carmel, NY. He was thrilled. He said it was excellent quality, perfect for explaining to patients. It is made in very good construction, material, and accurate design. Flexible the way it is suppose to be. Excellent model. Great value and price.

This is a great representation. The massage therapist in our family loves the visual. The herniation is a great touch. Very accurate. "Pretty outstanding" we say.

An absolutely fabulous medical model. Perfect for doctors office, science room, art room, Halloween, and More! Extremely well-made. Does a great job of showing how the spine works as well as demonstrating a hernia a great value for the price.

I LOVE This.I got this for decoration for my desk at work. I work in a clinical research department and had been looking for some 'nerdy' decor for my desk. Now I am the envy of many with my own life-sized spine. It's good quality, fairly heavy (in a good way) the vertebrae move and the spine can be bent.Beyond a great decoration piece, it's a great learning piece.

The model is well made and very realistic in all ways. The herniated disc is a really nice touch for teaching as well. When I hung my spine/pelvis model on the included stand it bows under the heavy weight of the model and is not strong enough to hold up the model for proper display. Due to the subpar metal display stand, I cannot eagerly recommend this product. With any teaching model such as this the first requirement is a sturdy and durable way to display it. Lying on a table, the model just does not have the same visual impact. I plan to suspend mine from a wall mounted hook, so that I may discard the weak and inferior metal display stand.
