This is a great little set of characters. The only thing I wish were different were to have the character on the opposite end so you know which one you are using and which direction it's situated. Will be easy enough to add with a Sharpie though!

This is an adequate stamping set for putting numbers, initials or words on metal tools and equipment. I use this to make initials on some of my larger copper art pieces. This works well for the intended use. The 1/4” set is on the larger side. This comes with a plastic holder to keep them together in storage. Good set that holds up for the materials I am using this on. As for lasting on some very hard metals, I did not know. Good value.

I wanted a set of metal letter stamps for use on art pieces. This set of metal letter stamps was my first foray into stamping letters. The set comes with a complete set of letter and numbers, and an additional star punch. I initially tested the stamps on pieces of pine lumber. The stamping was uneven due to the varying density of the wood. I then tried the stamps on some aluminum flashing and this proved to be more successful. It’s not easy to align the characters to create a line of text—forget about good letter spacing. Anyhow, the set worked well on the aluminum flashing, not sure how it will hold up if I try to mark steel tools, but this works for my purposes.
