I saw some of the other reviews mentioning that part B is too short. I assumed it was based on the specific model of dryer and decided to give it a shot, but I'm thinking now that it's probably based on the dryer width. If you have a smaller 24" dryer, it may be ok. If you have a large-capacity 27" dryer, then it will not fit. Part B will sit just about flush or slightly inside the machine once it's connected. This will leave no way to connect the vent hose.I did what some other reviewers suggested, and took the original vent tube that came with the dryer. I cut this with a saw to the right length and used it in place of part B. This works but they should really update the description of this product to specify that it's only for 24" dryers.And if you're even remotely handy and you're considering following a DIY video instead of buying an expensive kit for this, I say go for it. If you cut the included vent tube and use that in place of part A (because it has a bracket for the inside screw), then you only need an elbow and another short tube, for about $10 in parts. The trick is that you need to find a fixed 90 degree elbow since the adjustable elbows won't fit through the hole in the unit. You'll probably need to find a local supply house for this since the big orange and blue stores only sell adjustable elbows.

Materials seem top quality.The longer of the two pieces did not extend 1.5 in out of my LG wash tower as per the installation manual. Another review said to reuse the piece you take out of the dryer, cutting it to the right length, which works great.The piece that goes inside of the dryer that has a tab for screwing it in place would not fit in unless I first bent a tab down. One's inside the dryer I was able to bend it back up into place and screw it into place just great.Overall I'm happy with the assembly. I'm not sure how someone who is less likely to DIY would handle this.

This was perfect to side vent my new LG dryer. Came with all parts. Use gloves because the edges are sharp. 1/2 the price of the box store.

This kit isn't carried at Lowe's where I bought my dryer. I originally bought separate pieces to make the side vent conversion. Before I started cutting up those tubes, I found this on Amazon. It's a great fit but I wish tube "B" was 2" longer and the tape was stickier.

The first tube that was installed had to be forced on in order to screw it in. It took a lot more time to install than anticipated.

This side venting kit, which says it works for LG dryers beginning with DLG seems short, not sure if this is the same as the official kit. Duct B ends flush with machine, infact it is just a hair inside the machine; it is possible to attach flex to it, prior to sliding it into place, or an elbow or another piece of 4 inch duct to extend it. You can also use the original duct that you removed from your dryer, that one is longer and will give you an attachment point (see third picture), but it's very long for tight spaces, and you may need to cut it down. Would have been nicer if this kit just made Duct B, 3 inches longer for a perfect install. As always just be aware that some further customization may be needed for your particular situation and you may be better off just go into the hardware store buying some 4-in duct and an elbow and making one of these overly priced kits yourself.
