Replaced the sand in my pump for these and they kept my pool clean all summer. Will re use them again this coming summer.

I was sceptical at first but I needed to replace the old sand in my pool filter and wanted something different. These media balls worked absolutely wonderful and no more lugging the heavy filter into place since these filter balls are so much lighter even when wet. I used these for three months straight and didn't take them out to clean until the end of the swimming season. When I did take them out, I rinsed them off with a garden hose first, then washed them in the washing machine. They look like new now and I'm looking forward to use them again this year. I would highly recommend them for anyone looking for a different filter medium.

I will never use sand again. They are light weight and kept my pool cleaner than sand

They seem to be working okay now after about 6 to 7 weeks had a new pond only 8 ft round 2 ft deep stock pond started turning green could not get it to come clean with a 1 and 1/2 horsepower pump and a big sand filter filled with these balls seems to be working fine now Don't know if that's normal

I used these in my Intek sand filter (in place of sand) I have well water. Though I plumbed a soft water source in my garage and filled pool with the soft water. With in 15 minutes of adding some shock to the water, I got the brown pool! Used these filter balls and backwashed about 3x and within 24 hrs, pool is clear again. Washed them by hand and hose with a little detergent in a couple of 5 gal buckets in drive way to get clean and let air dry out on drive way. Now ready for next year. Sand back in filter for season.

It has been 2 weeks and seems like water is clearer. So far, we are happy we switched to the balls. Our pool is 24' round with an old original Hayward filter. We are not getting any sand after backwash so that is good. After the season, we will evaluate how the ball held up.

Product did not filter properly used the correct amount used correctly in the filter, but it did not out the small sediments. Water was always cloudy.

I was very happily impressed with these. My nephew bought a rural property in Montura, FL and it had an above ground pool that had been neglected and abandoned. He wanted to rehabilitate it, but the old sand was too contaminated so we went with this -lighter to transport all the way there from Miami and even cheaper I think. I had experience with sand medium before, but not this but figure it's cheap enough, arrived fast and it's simple to use, not to mention to make your bottle lighter and easier to handle. Wellthis did the trick. We haven't tried washing them yet since there's been no need but they're supposedly machine washable so maybe we'll try that later on. So far, it's been a couple of months of good service. I must say, I did use more balls than recommended, I kind of eyeballed the size inside the bottle to the point I felt comfortable they'll do the job, and they are.
